Class: Abstract/Non-Objective Painting

This class is for painters with some experience who wish to paint less realistically. Techniques for abstracting images and various materials which will aid in this process will be discussed and demonstrated. Students may choose to paint in an abstract style or non-objectively (no images). Instruction will be individual and based on each student’s needs and goals.
Pat Cain is a painter originally from the Midwest with a BS in Art Education and an MA in Studio Art. She taught art for thirty years and continues to enjoy sharing her enthusiasm for abstract painting with new students. Her work is shown in galleries in Scottsdale and northern Michigan and is included in may public and private collections.
Cancellation with reimbursement 2 weeks prior to the start of class.
