Class: Expressive Portraiture
Instructor: Mark Christopher
Medium: Oil or Acrylic
Date(s): Saturday, December 4, 2021
Time: 9 am to 4 pm
I want to paint looser. I want my painting to be more free. I don’t want my work to look like a photograph. I want to be more expressive.
Sound familiar? As we find our voices as artists, our desire to have that voice heard becomes stronger. Starting with the human form as a jumping off point, then using creative exercises, demonstrations, and extensive individual instruction, artist Mark Christopher will focus on unleashing your artistic voice. Color harmony, elements of drawing, composition, and fun self-exploration are some of the tools we will use to develop the emotional content of your artwork.
