Spend 2 days with Mark Christopher developing the fundamentals of drawing a figure from life. Start with deciding a pose and lighting the model, to capturing the gesture, and finish by shading the form to create 3 dimensional magic. This workshop will cover all the key ingredients to take your figure drawing skills to the next level using any dry media.
Mark Christopher is a nationally renowned artist and teacher hailing from Phoenix Arizona. He has carried the title of artist of the year for the Portrait Artists of Arizona and Arizona Artist Guild as well as being a signature member of Oil Painters of America and the Portrait Society of America. His figurative work, landscapes and portraiture is widely collected. The human form has always been a key part of Mark’s creative inspiration and his focus on working from life encourages the deepest understanding of the figure. He prides himself on being able to distill complex topics down to their most crucial aspects and sharing that knowledge with his many students.
