Class/Workshop Title: Painting Aspen Trees

We’ll break for 20-30 minutes for lunch.


Beth guides students, step by step, through the process of painting a landscape with Aspen trees. Not into Aspen Trees? You also can choose a desert landscape. Many techniques will be demonstrated and students will learn brush handling, color mixing, composition, shortcuts, tips and tricks! A 14×18 painting on canvas will be the result.

About Instructor:

Beth has been teaching adults for over twenty years, beginning at Terravita, when she was a resident there. She enjoys sharing her love of painting in acrylics, and teaches with enthusiasm and humor. Beth has a BA in Art from Bethany College, and has taken graduate level classes in painting and drawing. Her works hang in many private and public collections. From June 8-October 20, 2019, her “vibrant contemporary botanicals” are featured in “Flower Power”, an exhibit at the Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg. She also exhibits with Thunderbird Artists in Carefree, Vermillion Promotions in Cave Creek, Celebration of Fine Art in Scottsdale, and Hidden in the Hills at her own Studio, which is open by appointment.
