Mimi Damrauer is a self-taught, Scottsdale-based fiber artist. Mimi uses her hand-dyed cotton fabrics along with textiles purchased on her world travels to create her one-of-a-kind artworks. A collaboration between Mimi and retailer Crate and Barrel resulted in the 2008 debut of the best- selling “Sebastian” rug at Crate and Barrel retail stores nationwide and internationally via the Crate and Barrel website.
“I am inspired always by looking around me…the sidewalk cracks, the way old bricks lay out, the crooked-leaning telephone poles in rural India, the color of the ocean in Costa Rica, or the stones on a beach in Italy.”
This class will be limited to 15 people. Cancellation/refund deadline is one week prior to the workshop for a full refund.
