Medium: oil based clay

Date(s): Tuesdays from October 17, 2023 to Apr 16, 2024

Time: 1pm - 4pm

Cost: $150 for 5 attended sessions

 

Class Description:

If you are a new student, you will be taught how to build an armature to support the clay for your subject of choice, how to handle the clay, and give it a finished look.

A mold will then be made by a mold maker who will come in to give you a cost estimate for his work as well as a shipping cost to the foundry to pour and patina your bronze .

Instructor Biography:

Viviane's love of art led her to an art major at San Jose State University in CA, and continuing classes thereafter. She has exhibited in several shows, and her artwork has appeared in a few banks and galleries there and in AZ. She also enjoys drawing and painting, but sculpting is her favorite form of art. She was an art (and French) instructor in middle school for 37 years. She enjoys teaching and welcomes you to the class.

 

Cancellation:

New students only: 1st session only is a free orientation, as I'll give you a list of materials/tools to get before your next class.
