Class Description:

Have you been wanting to try out a new medium and aren't sure where to begin? Maybe you're stuck on a piece and aren't sure how to get it across the finish line? Want to level up your color mixing?

Well, you're in luck! Every Wednesday Mark Christopher is here acting as your personal artistic mentor, no matter the medium, style, or your personal experience! Through helpful demonstrations, time tested advice, and a supportive environment, learn topics such as:

• Techniques and best practices
• How to develop impactful subject matte
• Using design and composition effectively
• Color mixing/color matching
• Understanding values and contrast
• Drawing and proportion

And so so much more!

So pack up your supplies and come get creative in a fun, light, and no pressure class dedicated to your personal artistic goals!

Instructor Biography:

Studio Sessions is hosted by nationally acclaimed artist and instructor Mark Christopher who creates artwork that evokes emotion and inspires his students to do the same. For the past decade, his art has been admired and collected across the US and internationally while regularly being honored by his peers. Though formally trained in physics, his two greatest passions, creating and teaching, have informed and altered his life's journey and have become his life's work.

Supplies:

Supply listis for a medium can be provided upon request. Otherwise students bring whatever they;re working on and usually use.

There is a $45 fee for the morning. You will need to sign up on-line here for the Wednesday of your choosing from the dates seen below. There is a minimum of 5 participants needed for each class and limit of 15.
