Class Description:
This workshop will encourage you to create a collage work of art. We will do so with collage, color and composition to reflect who you are as a female; creative, powerful, loving, studious, etc. We will discuss the difference a color brings to your work. Using classic Masters pieces, you will ignite a very powerful and creative work. Instruction will be given in basic theme and paper selection, application of 2–3-dimensional materials application, color matching, tonal rendering, and overall composition. There will be demonstrations, one-on-one interaction with students and detailed instructional handouts to guide each person through the process from start to finish, to completion. We will cover the extension of the human form into a collage work, colorization of flesh, layering acrylic & metallic paints and the use of coordinating colors to enhance mood in your overall work.
