Reception Welcomes Returning Residents to Enjoy TAL's Fall Exhibit:
The Power of Three
"A lot of thought went into making it interesting!"
"Three Artists, Three Mediums"
Margit Kagerer, Erv Parthe and Mary Wells
"Kudos to the organizers!," said guest Gayle Sciorilli. "I loved the exhibit - a lot of thought went into making it interesting!
"As a non-artist, I especially appreciated seeing several very different art mediums. The variety each artist brought to the exhibit was so educational and enjoyable.
"Best was the chance to speak with each artist and ask questions, such as how he or she started. My personal interest was in Margit's way of turning a quilt into a scenic piece of art!
"Thanks so much!"
Three more exhibits are planned for the 2025-26 season. Next up, opening mid-November will be "Dwell in Possibility," themed on an Emily Dickinson quote and featuring artwork by members in addition to class instructors.
Sue Lewis seconded her comments - "We had a great turn out, and everyone seemed to enjoy talking to our three artists and mixing with others. We want the community to see these receptions as events for all of the community - not just art league members."
